As most members and guests have no doubt noticed, comprehensive course renovations have again been undertaken this year. We again thank our members for their understanding and patience at this time of year, as it is greatly appreciated.
Course renovation works have progressed well over the last two weeks, with greens, tees, fairways and most surrounds having been renovated.
Glenelg Golf Club has joined with Pacific Links International and its worldwide network of renowned golf experiences to give members exclusive playing privileges at international championship courses around the world.
The annual Glenelg Golf Club Foundation Golf Day was held on Friday, 23rd August 2013 and saw over $18,000 raised for the Club’s Junior Development Program.
The experienced father-son pairing of Geoff and Leigh Attenborough proved far too strong, taking out the 2013 Tuohy Trophy on Sunday.
Tee closures for the month of September are now available for members.
Having not won the Rhonda Watson Brooch event since 2009, Glenelg’s team of Elysia Yap, Cathy Symons and Elise Dignan were determined to challenge for the trophy on their home soil.
The Club’s first Night Golf event will be held on Wednesday, 18th September 2013 on a modified six hole course.
