Meet the Team
Head Professional & Director of Golf Operations
I took up golf at 13 years old and was immediately hooked. I represented SA in junior and senior competition and was chosen to represent Australia in the Sloan Morphet Trophy in New Zealand and the Eisenhower Cup in Stockholm, Sweden.
I earned my Australian PGA Tour card after returning to Australia from a scholarship based in Houston Texas in 1989.
The highlight of my professional career was winning two Australian PGA Tour events, the 1994 New Zealand Open, the 1995 Coolum Classic and a $100,000 hole-in-one at the 1999 Greg Norman International at The Australian GC.
I took a role as Director of Golf at McCracken Country Club from 2002 – 2006, and then General Manager at Tanunda Golf Club in the Barossa Valley for 5 years.
Since taking on my roles at Glenelg Golf club in 2011 I have recruited some amazing staff who help supply the energy, passion and drive that is required to carry out the multitude of tasks that encompass the Golf Operations and Pro Shop services of a of a Group One Golf Club.
Pro Shop & Golf Operations Manager
I have recently been appointed as the new Pro Shop & Golf Operations Manager. I have played golf for 15 years, with the majority being played in Port Augusta where I grew up.
I have been a Member of Glenelg Golf Club for over 6 years where I was an integral part of the successful #TeamGlenelg junior Pennant teams in 2016 and 2017. Since finishing school in 2017, I have been working full-time at Drummond Golf learning skills that are going to help me succeed in this new role. Along with my work, I am studying a Bachelor of Business at university.
I look forward to getting to know all our Members and guests that use our Club’s world-class facilities.

Teaching Professional & Golf Operations
I am a dynamic and innovative PGA Teaching Professional committed to helping all Members with their game and fostering enjoyment. My coaching has a very player centric focus working with the individual to achieve their desired results. I have a particular passion for long-term improvement whether that be with an established club golfer or brand-new beginner. I pride myself on the attention to detail when working with all students, and couple this with a supportive and enthusiastic nature.
I am currently using Trackman and SAM Puttlab to benefit students, but whilst I acknowledge the importance of technology, I realise it’s only one piece of the puzzle and I’m committed to constantly developing interpersonal skills to elevate my communication and deliver a better service.
I visit numerous schools annually delivering a fundamental program to the younger generation as well as being involved in the Junior Tiger Cubs program. I am also a deliverer of the Get Into Golf program which seeks to engage more of the community in the game of golf.
Teaching Professional & Pro Shop Staff
I am a PGA of Australia Professional and have been a Glenelg Golf Club Member since I moved over from the UK in 2012. I was proud to play in the Simpson Cup for Glenelg, and won a Glenelg Vardon and the Jimmy Mac Trophy as an amateur.
In 2017 I took up my PGA traineeship at Aston Hills Golf Club in Mount Barker which I have since completed in December 2019 to become a fully qualified PGA Professional.
I was very proud to win the 2019 MyGolf Junior Program Deliverer of the Year Award at the Golf Industry awards night last year.
I really enjoy coaching adults and juniors of all levels, focusing on basic fundamentals such as set up and effective body movements which is important in every area of the game.
I love working with the Pro Shop Team in the Member services area, and I am part of the PGA coaching staff at the Glenelg Coaching Academy.
Pro Shop Staff
I have always been drawn to sport since becoming the youngest Open Club Champion at the Grange Lawn Tennis Club at the age of 12.
I enrolled in an Outdoor Fitness Leadership Course and Regency TAFE and was introduced to the sport of Snow Skiing. I then worked at the Crystal Mountain Ski resort located just North of Seattle where I became a qualified Cert 3 ski instructor.
After spending 7 years teaching at various locations including Austria and Thredbo, I took a role with Qantas in customer relations at Adelaide Airport. An opportunity arose to be transferred to Los Angeles which I jumped at, living in Santa Monica.
Upon my return, I worked as a pharmaceutical rep for Essex Pharma, before meeting my husband, Shane, and starting a family in Adelaide. I love my role here at Glenelg and pride myself on the great relationships I’ve forged with the Members and staff.
