Glenelg’s Jenny Lee & Elysia Yap are set to represent their state at the upcoming Women’s Interstate Series held at Gungahlin Lakes GC from 29th April to 2nd May. Matilda Wheare is also set to wear the state colours in the Junior Girls Interstate Series at Heritage Golf & Country Club from 13th to 16th April.
Due to significant interest, the Club is excited to again offer members the opportunity to tour two of the greatest golf courses in the country.
Glenelg backed up a half against Grange Green with a strong win against Tea Tree Gully, before a narrow defeat to Thaxted Park Golf Club on Sunday.
Glenelg member, Elysia Yap has taken out her second Women’s Vardon in a row, winning at Fleurieu Golf Club by a comfortable seven shots, one week after taking out The Vines Women’s Vardon by a total of eight shots.
After round one has was cancelled due to extreme heat, Glenelg have started off their McMillan Shield campaign this week with an exciting draw against Grange Green.

Glenelg’s 2013 Girls’ Club Champion, Matilda Wheare, has been selected in the SA junior state side to compete in April’s National Junior Interstate Series in Victoria.

The new Golf Australia handicapping system is set to come into play on Thursday, 23rd January 2014 incorporating the use of Slope.
