In very tough conditions of swirly winds and on and off rain, the Glenelg Simpson cup team fought out a tough 5 matches to 2 win against a very resilient Grange team on Sunday.
The Sharp Cup Team travelled to Tea Tree Gully to play against Tea Tree Gully in the first round of the season. In challenging winds the Team had a very solid 4 1/2 matches to 1/2 match win.
Selecting their best 5 players each week may be a challenge as Glenelg have an extremely strong squad, however, if that’s their major problem they will be in for a strong season. Expect the Tigers to pounce in 2017.

We are calling on a small number of volunteers to act as Friends of the Course, on Monday, 19th June 2017 from 8:00am until 11.00am, to assist in planting trees.
This was a hard fought win from our div 2 team against Kooyonga, 3.5 to 1.5. You’ve earned your position on the ladder so far, but only 2 games in and we still have a long way to go.
To celebrate Glenelg Golf Club’s 90th Birthday, there will be several NTP competitions in the last week of May 2017. The Nearest the Pin competitions, using hickory clubs, will be on the 19th hole on Saturday 27th and Tuesday 30th May.
