Women’s A4 book finals berth

Report by Jeanne Scardigno
Team Manager

This morning we teed up at 8:30am on a chilly but perfect winter’s morning. The Tea Tree Gully Golf course looks amazing at the moment, and played well for most of our team.

We played The Grange, and came away with a heart-stopping 3/2 win. I am off to see my cardiologist for some heart pills!

Most matches were tight all day, so it pretty much came down to the last two players. I don’t like to pick a hero, but there was a hero out there today, and that was Cathy Darling.

Cathy needed to drop a seemingly impossible putt on the 18th for us to come away with a win, she did it! Wow, thanks to all my beautiful girls, one to go, and then back to Tea Tree Gully for the finals.

Fiona Eblen was defeated 5/4.
Cathy Darling won 1 up
Anne Marks won 2/1
Sandy Francas won 3/1
Jill Gehling was defeated 3/2
