The Glenelg Simpson Cup Team continued their unbeaten run with a very strong 5.5 – 1.5 victory over Southern at Mount Compass Golf Club last Sunday.
On Monday, 9th July our Women’s A3 team were greeted to a cold, still morning at West Lakes Golf Club to take on the home team after narrowly qualifying for the A3 Final.
It was the last round of Bonnar Cup and we needed results to go our way to qualify for the Final. Our first job was to win our contest against Kooyonga, all the Glenelg boys played well and we came away with a convincing 5 – 2 win: job done.
The Sharp Cup Team won its Semi-Final 4 – 1 against The Grange (Gold) at the The Grange on Sunday. The course was in exceptional condition and the weather was great all day.
Even though it was the final round of the season and it wasn’t called a semi-final, it came down to who won on the day between the top four teams to make the final.
Our girls had a convincing win against Royal Adelaide winning the first 3 matches very easily and therefore the other 2 players did not need to finish as we had a result.

Our dry season has continued over the last fortnight with the ‘added bonus’ of some icy mornings.
