Temporary Local Rules

Current Course Playing Conditions

1. Preferred lies – Lift & Place

A ball lying in the general area cut to fairway height or less may be marked, lifted, cleaned, and placed within one scorecard length of its original spot, no nearer the hole. This rule will remain in effect until further notice.

2. Organic Matting

The organic matting used in revegetation areas other than No Play Zones is ‘integral to the course’ and the ball must be played as it lies, or unplayable ball relief taken.

3. 1st Hole

No Play Zones (marked by black stakes and/or black lines) mark the following areas:

• Greenside bunker (free relief at the Drop Zone Stake)

• Newly formed mounding on the right-hand side of the fairway.  
• Sand area left of the newly laid turf area, adjacent to the driving range.
• Mounding left (boundary side) of the newly built path accessing the 2^nd tee.

4. 2^nd Hole

No Play Zones (marked by black stakes and/or black lines) mark the following areas:

• Newly formed mounding at the rear of the 6^th green.
• Sand area, left-hand side of the teeing areas (boundary side).

5. 5^th Hole

No Play Zones (marked by black stakes and/or black lines) mark the following areas:

• The left-hand side of the 5^th hole starts approximately. 100 metres from the teeing area, continuing just past the maintenance area and access track.

6. 6^th Hole

No Play Zones (marked by black stakes and/or black lines) mark the following areas:

• Newly planted vegetation areas between the 6^th green run off area and the 7^th tees.
• Newly formed mounding left-hand side of fairway separating the 6^th and 7^th fairways.
• Newly formed mounding to the right-hand side and rear of the 6^th green.

7. 7^th Hole

No Play Zones (marked by black stakes and/or black lines) mark the following areas:

• Newly formed mounding left-hand side of the 7^th green, separating the 7^th green and 6^th tee area.
• Newly formed mounding left-hand side of fairway alongside newly formed penalty area.  
• Newly formed mounding right-hand side of fairway, adjacent to the carpark.

8. 8^th Hole

No Play Zones (marked by black stakes and/or black lines) mark the following areas:

• Newly formed mounding on the left-hand side of the fairway up to and around the left-hand side of the 8^th green.

9. 15^th Hole

No Play Zones (marked by black stakes and/or black lines) mark the following areas:

• The left-hand side mounding, between the first and second cart path exits only, adjacent to the 15^th green. This area includes the pathway and loose greenkeepers’ material at the rear of the mounding.
