The Glenelg Senior Pennant team suffered their first loss of the season in the last minor round, losing 2/5 to Blackwood at Thaxted Park. The Blackwood boys generally handled the tricky Thaxted greens a bit better and deserved their win. The contest was a little closer than the scoreline suggests with 4 of our losing games going to the 17th hole or beyond.
116 players played the City Mazda Hospitality Day with 29 being visitors from 13 different clubs ranging from as far as Burra, Murray Bridge, Port Augusta and Victor Harbor. It was a most enjoyable social day and all the ladies were thankful for no rain and wind.

Glenelg Seniors maintained their unbeaten run in Round 6 of the Golf SA Seniors Pennant played at Glenelg last Monday. The 5/2 home victory against Thaxted Park secured top spot in Section A with one minor round still to be played.
