Playing Mt. Osmond on their home course was always going to be a tough assignment! In the end the Mt. Osmond boys were just too consistent on and around the tricky greens and deserved their win.
Congratulations to Ken Schebella (at No. 5) and Sandy Small (at No.7) on winning their games and giving us a chance to pull off an unlikely win.
Fortunately we had already qualified for the Finals regardless of the outcome of this contest and we now need to regroup for next week’s Semi Final.
We will welcome back our top 2 players Chris Whitford and John Keogh for this knock out Semi Final as we take on Thaxted Park at Thaxted Park next Monday afternoon. Another tough assignment but one we need to win to get through to the Grand Final in 2 weeks’ time at Kooyonga.
