Country kids clean up Glenelg

Immanuel College Boarding Students from across rural South Australia and oversea were up right and early Sunday morning volunteering their time for Clean Up Australia 2012.

Sixty students chose to clean up around their own suburb, Novar Gardens, focussing on Morphett Road, James Melrose Road, Sarataga and Bonython Avenue. In all, the students removed 8 cubic metres of rubbish, a majority of it along James Melrose Road.

Jake from Port Lincoln said that “it was nice to make a difference for other people, but I am amazed at how how rubbish there actually was”
