Immanuel College Boarding Students from across rural South Australia and oversea were up right and early Sunday morning volunteering their time for Clean Up Australia 2012
.
Sixty students chose to clean up around their own suburb, Novar Gardens, focussing on Morphett Road, James Melrose Road, Sarataga and Bonython Avenue. In all, the students removed 8 cubic metres of rubbish, a majority of it along James Melrose Road.
Jake from Port Lincoln said that “it was nice to make a difference for other people, but I am amazed at how how rubbish there actually was”
