We’re thrilled to welcome Venece Floridis to the Glenelg Golf Club team!
Venece brings with her over a decade of experience across high-end hospitality, venue management, and event production, with a career spanning Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide.
Most recently, she held the position of Sales & Event Planning Manager (Head of Events) at the National Wine Centre of Australia, where she led a team delivering standout corporate and private functions.
Prior to her returning home to Adelaide, her career also includes management and leadership roles with the Peter Rowland Group (Sydney and Melbourne), Macquarie Group Limited (Global Headquarters), and her own consultancy, where she produced public and corporate events with a strong focus on creativity and community. Venece worked at Long Reef Golf Club in Northern Sydney, where she first discovered her passion for golf club culture and member engagement and has continued to feed her passion for community and engagement with volunteering, most recently at the Adelaide Fringe Festival in 2025.
With a deep commitment to creating memorable experiences and fostering meaningful connections, Venece is excited to be part of Glenelg’s vibrant community and is looking forward to getting to know Members around the Club.
