Juniors to benefit from latest in coaching technology

Glenelg’s juniors are set to benefit from the latest in golf coaching technology with a series of junior coaching sessions being held during the October School Holidays.

We recognise the need to continue to provide our juniors with ongoing training and experiences, and as such our Golf Operations team have put together a two-day training program during the school holidays designed specifically for juniors and utilising the latest in coaching technologies.

The sessions will be as follows:

First Session

Speed Burners Introduction (Agility ladder)
Baseball Dynamics
Azas Bats swing training
15 minute Warm Up (Swing)

Trackman Data (15 min per player)

Intro to 270 Ball Skill Test

Long Game  Test (60 Balls)

The sessions will be run by the Club’s two leading teaching PGA professionals, State and National Coach, Gareth Jones, and Adrian Wickstein.  The Club will be funding the sessions through the Glenelg Golf Club Foundation and as such, will be at no cost to attendees.  Numbers will be limited and restricted to Glenelg junior members only.
