Held at the Brook Hollow Golf Club in Dallas, Texas, Buchanan is currently competing in the Trans-Mississippi Amateur. The 72 holes Individual Stroke Play tournament is held from July 10th to 14th with a field of 144 and is reduced to the low 54 competitors (and ties), following the completion of the second round (36 holes).
