New Range of Tap Beers

We are taking advantage of the Course and Clubhouse closure on Monday 2 September & Tuesday 3 September, to carry out some exciting upgrades and improvements to our tap beer offerings!

Additional taps will be added to both the Golfers and Function Bars, and the current keg cold store room will be relocated to the much larger cold store, located in the stock room. As well as providing several logistical benefits, these changes will allow us to provide Members with a much greater range of products on tap, with the ability to feature 12 unique products (previously only 7) over a total of 18 taps (previously 12).

In addition, we are excited to announce new supplier agreements with both Asahi and CUB.
This will allow us to draw from a much broader product range, creating even greater variety and interest for Members.

As part of the new agreements we will also be featuring different craft beers & ciders – from larger producers like Coopers, right down to the smallest craft breweries, and even wine, sangria and cocktails – from time to time.

The new product range will include a more contemporary offering, fitting the calibre of a premier golf club, while still providing great value, everyday beers.

A review of tap beer pricing to understand where we are placed in the market, has also been carried out, and a new pricing structure implemented. This new pricing is based on the Clubs SA price guide, which draws on an average price from numerous products, across hundreds of clubs within South Australia, to provide a recommended sell price.

We have made every endeavour to set our pricing at the low range of this guide, to continue to provide excellent value to Members. When considering the new tap beer pricing, we would encourage you to bear in mind that:

• You will receive a 10% discount under the new Member Card System
• You may be purchasing one of our more premium products
• A number of tax increases have been applied to beer sales (the most recent in July, 2019)
• The Club’s tap beer pricing has remained unchanged since mid 2017
