Sharp Cup Report

Round 4, 23 June

The sharp cup team had a early Sunday morning tee time in extremely chilly conditions at The Vines against the host club. As expected The Vines are always a tricky team on there home deck and this was to be no exception.

Most of the team got off to reasonable starts with Harry and Jack taking early leads. Josh and Calvin remained tight with there opponents challenging to take the leads at various stages and Noah putting on a brave fight. 

However momentum shifted the way of The Vines and as has been the case unfortunately for the team in the past few games the finishing 9 belonged to the other team. Well done to Harry who managed to half his match.

All members should be very proud of the team for the way they have conducted themselves the past few weeks as disappointed as the losses have been they showed great sportsmanship throughout.

We look forward to travelling to Mount Compass playing the top Grange team hopefully we can give them a bit of a kick in the guts before they start the finals and keep our chances a live.
