Round 2, 13^th May 2019

This week was always going to be a difficult match because we played the home side at Tea Tree Gully. And so it proved to be.

Our team gave everything in hard fought contests with several matches square or very close to square at the half way mark.

Gerry Hall was always in front in her match and won 4/3. The three matches we lost were all relatively even contests but the home ground advantage eventually prevailed.

Des Carey’s match was a real test of mental toughness. She was two down with 2 holes to play but came home very strongly to square the match.

We are looking forward to our own home course advantage next week.
