Chris Kelly’s Kind Donation

On Monday 11th March we held the Queen Sirikit Cup Open Day. Chris Kelly was fortunate enough to win the major prize for the day, a 2019 Adelaide Football Club team signed Sherrin football. 

Chris was pretty chuffed to win a prize, although he is actually a Port Adelaide Football Club supporter!

Instead of letting the football go to waste, Chris thought it would be great to donate it to a charity to auction off and raise money. 

Chris donated the football to the Service to Youth Council who run a program called Helping Young People Achieve. Troubled youth often come from a background of abuse but the good thing is they are young enough to change.

Here is a photo of Chris donating it to Anna at HYPA. They are holding a function later this year at which it will be auctioned. Lets hope it raises lots!
