Luckily fine albeit very cool weather was the order of the day for our match against Westward Ho at Royal Adelaide. We played well to win 3.5 – 1.5.
Our girls all started very strongly with all players square or better after the first four holes. After our club championships last week, match play skills were evident and it was pleasing to see our team using effective strategies to maximise their chances on the holes.
Gerry Hall and Ros Osborn had very strong wins while Frances Macpherson won her match 4/2. Marg Gordon halved her match and Jo McCarthy only lost on 18th so well done to all players.
