The 2017 Senior Interclub season, an annual competition between Glenelg, Kooyonga, Royal Adelaide & The Grange, got underway on Friday, 15th July at Royal Adelaide Golf Club.
Glenelg had a tough first round encounter losing 2.5 – 3.5 to Royal Adelaide at Royal Adelaide. Four of the six matches went down the 18th hole with Royal Adelaide winning 2.5 of the 4 points up for grabs.
Wayne Humphries halved with David Cherry
Brian Welsh lost to Tim Pozza 5/4
Kenton Inns lost to David Tamblyn 1 down
David Chantrell defeated Tim Evans 2/1
Ken Schebella lost to Owen Watson 1 down
Greg Kendall defeated Michael Hayward 1 up

Glenelg will be looking to bounce back next week against Kooyonga at The Grange.
