The Pauline Sanderson Bowl is a match play event played between Glenelg and Kooyonga for Ladies with a GA handicap of 20 to 30.
Unfortunately Glenelg was defeated 5.5 matches to 3.5. After nine holes it looked as if Glenelg was in the lead being up in 5 matches and square in two matches but Kooyonga fought back well winning the two matches that were squared after nine.
A special mention to Meg Woods who played her first interclub match and won 4/2.
The matches were played in great spirit and I am sure many new friendships were made. We were fortunate to have Pauline Sanderson and Jean Roberts attend the lunch after golf.
A big thank you to the ladies that played and maybe next year we will have better luck at Kooyonga.
