Phillip Pinnell celebrates 100th Birthday

Happy Birthday to Glenelg member Phillip Pinnell, who celebrated his 100th birthday on Monday, 19th September 2016.

Phillip enjoyed the company of fellow members Les Diercks and Bob Gilfillan (pictured above) for a celebratory tee-shot off the 1st, which landed in the middle of the fairway.

Phillip joined Glenelg Golf Club in 1977, and has remained a member for the past 39 years. Les Diercks will also celebrate his 100th birthday in February next year, and has been a Glenelg member for 63 years, and Bob Gilfillan celebrated his 95th birthday last month and has been a member for 42 years.

The Club would like to congratulate Phillip on this truly special occasion, and thank Phillip, Les & Bob for their long-time membership at the Club.
