On a beautiful autumn day at Royal Adelaide, with ideal conditions, Glenelg unfortunately did not fare very well with the Bronze Challenge. We lost to Royal Adelaide 3 ½ to 5 ½ matches.
A couple of the matches were close to winning but in the end it was Marg Gordon, Gloria Rishworth and Desley Carey winning their matches for Glenelg with Jill Hage squaring.
Even though we weren’t victorious the Glenelg girls really enjoyed the day and the hospitality of the Royal Adelaide ladies.
