Glenelg Golf Club is proud to announce that we have been awarded Golf Australia’s National MyGolf Venue of the Year. This prestigious honour recognises the Club’s dedication to Junior development and our commitment to creating opportunities for the next generation of golfers.
The MyGolf program is Australia’s national junior golf initiative, designed to introduce children to the game in a fun, safe and engaging environment. At Glenelg, we have worked hard to ensure our program not only provides quality coaching but also fosters a welcoming community where juniors can learn, grow and enjoy the game at every stage of their golfing journey.
This award is a testament to the passion and commitment of our coaching team, led by Coaching Academy Manager Connor Chant, along with PGA Professionals Adam Bland, Harry Coote and Ryan Reavley, and the support of our Members. Together, we have built a pathway that allows juniors to progress from beginner clinics through to competitive golf, helping to shape the future of the sport.
We are especially proud of the culture our junior program has created, with many young golfers building lasting friendships and developing both on and off the course. For Glenelg, it is about more than just golf – it is about providing life skills, confidence and a love for the game that will stay with them for years to come.
