Our Women’s Try Golf program is going from strength to strength, with an incredible 65 women taking part in six different clinics over the past two months. These sessions have welcomed both beginners and intermediate players, providing a supportive and engaging introduction to the game.
Most recently, we had 17 women participate in a single clinic across four weeks, all eager to learn the fundamentals of golf and build their confidence on the course.
Each Women’s Try Golf clinic at Glenelg Golf Club consists of three 3.5-hour sessions, where participants are guided through key aspects of the game including chipping, full swing with irons, woods and driver, and putting. The final session takes place on course, offering a chance to put everything learned into action.
This on-course experience is played in an Ambrose format, making it accessible and enjoyable for everyone—each group plays from the best ball, ensuring a fun and relaxed introduction to golf.
To wrap up, participants are invited to the Clubhouse to relax, share stories, catch up with new friends, and enjoy drinks and nibbles in a welcoming social setting.
