Good luck Graham Webster

It is with a very heavy heart that we say goodbye and good luck to one of our long-serving volunteers, Graham Webster.

Graham has been volunteering with us for over six years – as long as Tim and Monina have been at the course.

Graham has been very dedicated to the cause and has hardly missed a session. He has even taken work home – making a few modifications to our bird boxes.

One of Graham’s legacies will be the Webster Basket. Working at home, Graham created a wire basket for volunteers to collect pine cones and needles. The basket can be lifted into the back of a Workman saving a lot of time and energy in moving the debris shovel by shovel. Graham made two versions of the basket. The latest version (aka Webster Basket 2.0) can sometimes be a two-person lift, but it is much sturdier and stronger. We might need to patent the Webster Basket in his honour.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to Graham for his service. We will all miss him and wish him all the best at his new home and golf club.
