Last Sundays Vardon events were at Blackwood. We only had a few Members playing with the best performer being Steve Locke in a tie for 4th on 75, 3 shots back of the winner. Next Sunday the Vardon events are at West Lakes.
Pennant training is now in full swing and on Sunday 14th April we will be playing a trial match against Blackwood at Blackwood for the Glenwood Trophy. That will be followed by a trial at home against Grange the following Sunday ahead of the opening round of matches on Sunday 5th May.
This week Kade Bryant and Jack Leonard will be competing in the Australian Junior Amateur championship at Gosnells Golf Club in WA from 9 – 12 April. This 72 hole event holds National and World Amateur Ranking status. A cut will be made after 54 holes to the top 36 boys and 36 girls. Live scoring can be followed by clicking here. That will be followed by the Australian Junior Interstate Teams matches from 15 – 18 April at Royal Fremantle with Kade and Jack both in the SA team.
On the professional front, Jack Buchanan will be playing in the final stage of PGATA Q school at Moonah Links from 9 – 12 April. Live scoring can be followed by clicking here.
