Member Tour Update

There was no joy for Lachy Barker or Jack Buchanan at the Australian Open. Both missed the 36 hole cut with Jack at +4 and Lachy +6. That brings us to the half way point of the Australasian PGA Tour season (apart from a two day exhibition event this week in Victoria at Cathedral Lodge that is not part of the order of merit. Neither Lachy or Jack are involved). There is now a short break until the season resumes in the new year from 11-14 January at the Heritage Classic in Victoria. Lachy is in 6th position on the Order of Merit and Jack is 61st. Ahead of Lachy are Min Woo Lee, Adam Scott and Marc Leishman who have each played two events. They are unlikely to play the minimum number of four events required to remain on the final order of merit at seasons end.

This week Lachy is off to the LIV Qualifying tournament to be held in Abu Dhabi from 8-10 December. The top 3 players will earn a place in the LIV Golf League for 2024. The next seven players (plus ties) will receive a full exemption for all International Series events in 2024. So plenty to play for and we wish him all the best!
