Braeden Kelly Joined Glenelg Golf Club in January 2009 as a 15 year old Junior. He has since represented the club at Junior level and he progressed to ultimately become part of a winning Bonnar Cup side. Braeden worked in the Pro Shop as a 17 year old and quickly made a name for himself with his thoughtful approach and passionate ideas. BK has always wanted to make a difference and contribute to the Glenelg Golf Club as a whole.
Golf has always been in Braeden’s blood and after embarking on a university degree in Business and Commerce the pull of golf eventually won over and he started a PGA Traineeship at Kooyonga Golf Club with a view to become a PGA qualified Teaching Professional.
Braeden has worked as a teaching professional and Junior coordinator at Glenelg for the last 5 years. He has worked alongside Gareth Jones, Adrian Wickstein Connor Chant and Sarah King and his commitment to the MyGolf Junior Tigers, Club Pennant, Women’s Try Golf and Member programs has been integral to the success of the Glenelg Coaching Academy.
Braeden has taken an opportunity to manage the Kooyonga Golf Academy, back where he started his PGA training. Braeden will be missed at Glenelg however we wish him all the best with this exciting next phase of his career.
Please join us for last drinks with BK on the balcony this Friday 22nd December at 3pm.
