Glenelg Seniors Win Round 1 Pennant Match against Kooyonga

Played at Tea Tree Gully under perfect conditions, the Glenelg Senior Pennant team got the season off to the perfect start by defeating a strong Kooyonga team 5/2.

Congratulations to Pete Jeffery on making his Senior Pennant debut for the club and winning a tough match 3&2.

Tight wins were recorded by Deane Harris, Villi Koronis, Anthony Doyle and John Keogh, with all those games going to at least the 17th hole, which reflected the closeness of the contest. James Mattsson and Trent Kotz had tough matches and succumbed against a couple of strong competitors.

Well done guys, a great start to the season.
