I am very pleased to announce that we have formalised a reciprocal agreement with Portsea Golf Club on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria.
Portsea has been linked to our Club via the Links2Golf program which included a green fee component, however we have now committed to a full reciprocal agreement with no green fee payable. The reciprocal arrangement allows Members to play up to 4 games per calendar year. Reciprocal Members may also introduce guests as per the current policy at the host club. A maximum group size of 8 players may visit on any one day. This agreement commences on Sunday 1st October 2023.
Portsea Golf Club is consistently ranked in Australia’s Top 50 with a true Championship 18 hole course. The Club is set amongst rolling sand dunes and coastal vegetation, with spectacular views across Port Phillip Bay. The fast draining fairways allow perfect playing conditions all year. The naturally undulating couch fairways and links style course is as much fun as it is challenging and charming.
The new agreement with Portsea is in line with the current Committee review of our reciprocal clubs to better reflect comparison with our own Club, particularly with the investment that has been made in enhancing our golf course.
We hope Members enjoy the new addition to our reciprocal list and welcome any visitors that may visit our Club from Lonsdale Links.
