On Sunday 24th September we held the Jimmy McLachlan Trophy which is a top club event open to amateurs and professionals.
We had 16 players competing in the 36 hole event on a perfectly set up condition golf course by Course Superintendent Tim Warren and his team, playing off the back black tees and some “creative” pin positions on a great day for golf!
The morning round had a few decent scores highlighted by a fantastic 68(-3) off the stick by Campbell Rawson leading by 6 shots over Henry Duregon!
The afternoon proved to be a tougher test with some breeze and all playing pushing through the fatigue of playing 36 holes! Nick Wake shot the best of the 2nd round with a 74 (+3).
