The Captains Trophy has culminated in the final played between Kristin Jeffery and Jill Gehling. Womens Vice Captain Kristin proved too strong in what was a tight match play event winning on the 16th hole 3/2. Kristin by all reports played some sensational golf to defeat Jill who rarely deviates from the fairway and is a formidable putter. Next week Jill will go on to play the final of The Laurel Wreath against Frances Macpherson in what should be another tight match.
Congratulations to all players who qualified and contributed to such successful events and best of luck to Jill and Frances.
