The Club is excited to announce the re-opening of the 11th hole on Saturday 10th June, with both the 10th and 12th holes also returning to full length. This will provide Members access to play the full Course until mid-August, giving the 19th hole a break from play and adequate recovery time.
Course staff have done a terrific job in delivering this next phase of the Course Enhancement Plan for all Members.
Temporary Local Rules will be required while some areas of these newly renovated holes establish themselves. The local rules differ slightly whether playing the 10th or 11th holes, please ensure you familiarise yourself with these rules.
Temporary Local Rules Whilst Playing the 10th & 11th Holes
Playing the 10th Hole
If a ball comes to rest in the NO PLAY ZONE (NPZ) marked by black stakes on the RHS of the fairway, free relief must be taken under rule 16.1.
Relief must be taken by dropping the ball in the general area on the 10th fairway.
Playing the 11th Hole
If a ball comes to rest in the NPZ marked by black stakes, free relief must be taken by dropping a ball at a Drop Zone indicated by blue stakes, closest to where the ball originally lay, even if the blue stake is closer to the hole.
Preferred Lies 10th & 11th Holes
Both the 10th and 11th holes will have a preferred lie rule in place. Relief may be taken by placing a ball once, within 1 club length from where the ball originally lay not nearer the hole.
Please Note: All bunkers throughout the newly renovated holes are in play. This includes the left hand side fairway bunker on the 12th hole, now back in play.
There will be hard copies of these local rules available in the Pro Shop, however if further clarification is required please speak with the Pro Shop team.
