Bec Hardy excels in Melbourne

In the first week of the school holidays, Glenelg junior Bec Hardy travelled to Victoria and competed in junior tournaments at the prestigious Royal Melbourne Golf Club (West Course) and Yarra Yarra Golf Club, in the Melbourne sand belt region. Inspired by playing Australia’s finest course, Bec won the Royal Melbourne event by 3 shots with a wonderful round of 2 over par 74.

She followed up with a fourth-place finish at the Yarra Yarra event two days later. Bec thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to play these amazing courses, presented in superb condition.  She met many new people along the way, and was excited to receive her winning prize at Royal Melbourne by Australian tennis legend, Todd Woodbridge. Congratulations Bec on a memorable week.
