Our General Manager, Robert Vincekovic, recently returned from Orlando, USA, at the Club Managers Association of America World Conference.
During the trip, Robert was officially awarded his Certified Club Manager (CCM) designation in front of 3,300 managers from 28 different countries at the Awards Ceremony.
Robert was one of six Australians to reach the CCM status and one of 85 people from around the world to gain their CCM at the conference. Robert is the first in South Australia to receive the qualification and this was recognised by Golf Management Australia who sponsored his attendance at the conference.
Robert’s achievement further adds to the standing of Glenelg Golf Club on the World stage with Glenelg mentioned numerous times throughout the week-long event. Robert has come back to us with many ideas and new industry contacts, all of which will benefit our Club moving forward.
