The 2022 SA Australian Bridal Industry Awards (ABIA) were held on Tuesday 8th November. In its 22nd anniversary year, the SA ABIA Wedding Industry Awards recognise the achievements of exceptional wedding vendors across the state and acknowledge the key role wedding professionals play in our communities. This year, 183 Finalists were shortlisted, all having achieved an average customer satisfaction rating above 95%. 3,100 newlyweds who were invited to vote in this year’s Awards, helping to uphold and strengthen standards for the Australian Wedding marketplace.
Glenelg Golf Club was privileged to once again win Best Club Wedding Venue. It is a great honour for our Club to receive this award, with a satisfaction rating of 99.96%, at what is known as the Logies for the wedding industry.
In her final week at the Glenelg, it is testament to the fantastic work done by Sales and Events Manager Lynn Kschammer, who has won this award seven times in her 10 year tenure at the Club. It is also a fitting farewell for Lynn as it perfectly closes a chapter of her career at Glenelg, we thank her very much. We would also like to thank our entire hospitality team, both front of house and kitchen, that deliver amazing results day in day out for all our functions. This is a well-deserved award for all their hard work and effort. Thank you Team Glenelg.
