Lone Pine Pavilion

On behalf of the Committee of Management, I am excited to present the Lone Pine Pavilion to the Membership.

The current Gazebo on our 10th Tee was constructed in 1997, and the structure is in need of major upgrading to meet the changing requirements of the Club and its Members. Replacing the current gazebo, the Lone Pine Pavilion will sit between the 8th and 10th Tees overlooking the 9th Green. The floor will be raised slightly to provide a great viewing platform of all the surrounding holes.

The multi-purpose facility will offer an array of services that are in line with the high expectations for our facilities. Comfortable seating for 32 people, three unisex toilets, bar and kitchen facilities, are just a few of the many additions that will enhance the Member experience. First and foremost, this Pavilion is for the Members and it will not impact golf in any way. To read more about the new facility please view the Lone Pine Pavilion brochure.

BB Architects have developed what we believe to be a timeless design, with finishes that will be of high quality and blend into the surrounds of the golf course. A special mention to past Captains Paul McGrath, Tony Martin and Paul Duregon who formed part of the working group and gave up their time to help speed up the progression of this concept.

The Committee of Management intends to seek donations from Members to assist in the funding of this new facility. Members wishing to donate towards this special project will be acknowledged through the Club Annual Report, Club website and invited to the special opening of the new Lone Pine Pavilion. Any donations will be gratefully accepted and recognised. Donations of $10,000 or more will be recognised by way of a “Donor Wall”. Your name will be etched into artwork providing permanent recognition of your contribution to the Club.

Tax deductible donations can be made through the Australian Sports Foundation in support of this special project. To donate, or for more information, please click here.

Please view the brochure for additional images, history of the name, plans and further information relating to the new Lone Pine Pavilion. Please contact General Manager, Robert Vincekovic, for additional information and the donation process.
