[Updated 18 May]

Food & Beverage Closed

On Thursday we were advised by Golf Australia that we cannot sell food and beverage for consumption on the premises, including the golf course. Whilst this seems strange given that COVID-19 restrictions are easing, it has come as a directive from the State Government. We have sought clarity from SAPOL and, unfortunately, all sporting clubs have been grouped together and must follow this directive until at least Step 2 of the State Government’s ‘Roadmap for Easing COVID-19 Restrictions’.

The directive from Golf Australia can be found by clicking here.

Therefore, commencing Saturday 16th May the Catering Cart will no longer be operating and the 1st Tee Hut will be closed. This also includes the Pro Shop, therefore drinks or food will not be available for purchase at the Pro Shop. You are more than welcome to bring your own snack or non-alcoholic beverage whilst playing golf.

Thank you to all Members for supporting our food and beverage offerings up until this point. We assure you that we are as disappointed by this decision as you are. However, failure to abide by these new guidelines will result in serious ramifications for the Club, including fines and potential loss of licence.
