Sharp Cup Results

Round 3, 16 June

The Sharp cup team travelled the short distance the other side of the airport to take on Grange Green team in great conditions.

Both teams needing a win to put themselves in a good position at the half way mark of the season and for a fair chunk of the day it looked as though the Glenelg team may take control with the majority of our players being ahead or challenging in their respective games. 

However on the day it wasn’t to be and in the end the score line read Grange 5 Glenelg 0  which given the number of close games throughout the day the score line probably didn’t do us justice.  I’m sure our player will knuckle down for next week be positive and fight as best they can trusting that their skills will shine through. The team are still well and truly alive this season so we look forward to the challenges over the next few weeks.
