Women’s Glenelg vs Grange Foursomes Challenge

Women’s Glenelg vs Grange Foursomes Challenge

On Monday 1st April, 20 ladies from Glenelg played their annual foursomes competition against The Grange Golf Club.

This competition has been ongoing from 1974 and with Grange having a 26-19 lead and holding the trophy from last year we were keen to get a win.

The final result is determined by the team returning the lowest aggregate net score in relation to par, an unusual format!

The day delivered great weather and even though the scores were not fantastic our team made the most of home course advantage coming in with a great win. The final score was Grange +144 and Glenelg +119.5.

A lovely lunch followed and the banter and laughs from the golf course carried on into the dining room. A good time was had by all.

This is a wonderful fun day so I urge all ladies to think about playing in this day next year and help us retain the trophy.
