Report by Paul Grosvenor
Team Manager

The Sharp Cup Team won its Semi-Final 4 – 1 against The Grange (Gold) at the The Grange on Sunday.  The course was in exceptional condition and the weather was great all day.

At No. 4 Jack Ramage was the first to complete his match, although Jack played some solid golf unfortunately he lost 4/3.

At No. 5 Jade Kinita was the second to complete her match, she played some exceptional golf and controlled her match throughout the day recording a 2/1 win.  Well done Jade on your first Sharp Cup win!

At No. 3 Aaron Buchanan was the third to complete his match, Aaron displayed his normal never say die attitude on the golf course recording a 2/1 win.  Well done lad!

At No. 1 Harry Edwards played great golf and displayed excellent maturity under pressure to win 3/2.

At No.  2 Kane Hyams holed out from off the green on the 17th hole to win his match 2/1 before he was aware that Glenelg had already won the 3 matches required to progress to the Final.  Yes Kane!

A big thank you to the caddies and spectators who attended the Semi-Final, your efforts are very much appreciated by the team.

On Sunday the team will be playing against Kooyonga at Flagstaff Hill to determine the winner of the Sharp Cup.  Having won the Sharp Cup in 2016 & 2017 the team are incredibly excited to have the opportunity retain it at The Bay for the third year in a row.
