Pike Cup snare half at Tanunda Pines

Report by Joy Green
Team Manager

On Sunday, 27th May, the Women’s A2 team played Royal Adelaide at Tanunda Pines.

The weather was forecast to be 80% chance of rain and thankfully the forecast was wrong.  There were a few spots – but not enough to put up a brolly.

The course was in great condition but the greens were extremely tricky.  Trying to keep the ball below the hole resulted in putts being left short or traversing to another tier of the green.

Today we had Jade Kinita make her pennant debut and she proved herself worthy with her determination.  Great job Jade.

The match was halved with the following results of each game:
Tilly Wheare halved with Edwina Grant
Sam White lost to Jill McEwin  3/2
Tilly Miels defeated Pauline Morrison  4/2
Bec Hughes defeated Jan Van der Worp  4/3
Jade Kinita lost to Annabel Blanch  3/1

Thanks once again to the caddies for their support and assistance, it is greatly appreciated.
