RESULTS: 2018 Women’s Minda Day

The 2018 Women’s Minda Day was held on Tuesday, 13th February, the weather could not have been more perfect which contributed to some very good scores. We had 76 Visitors and 58 players from Glenelg.

Approximately $4,500 was raised from entries, the Trading Table and Raffle.  Minda Community Engagement Officer, Shelley Pyrah was thrilled with the outcome and congratulated everyone for their generosity.

The Competition of the day was a three ball best ball stableford and the winners with a score of 51 Points from Glenelg were Libby Neuling, Lynne Murphy and Shelagh Matthews.  The Runners Up with a score of 49 Points on a count back, also from Glenelg were Karin Fox, Raelene Graham and Anna Standish.

The Long Drive on the 18th Hole for A Grade, was won by Jill Hodge (Glenelg); B Grade, Dianne Cottrell (Blackwood); and C Grade, Louise Cornelius (Westward Ho).

The Nearest to the Pin on 11th Hole  A Grade, was won by Jo Ricourt (Glenelg); B Grade, Lisa Hancock (Mannum); and C Grade, Sandra Applebee (Mannum).

The Raffle winners were Lisa Gray (Echunga), Bev Franklin (Glenelg) and Marg Coker (Glenelg).

A special thanks to Shane Robinson and the Golf Operations Team for their assistance and direction on the day and to all participants for their support of this event.
