Glenelg Golf Club would like to advise the following changes to the Committee of Management. Popular COM member Michael Adair has resigned due to increasing work commitments interstate, with Imelda Lynch to take up the casual vacancy.
A very appreciative Michael Adair, who has great optimism about the future of the Club noted “The four years I served on the Committee of Management at Glenelg Golf Club were extremely enjoyable.
Being surrounded by passionate people with the Club’s best interests at the forefront was a key component, enabling careful decision making after valuable input from all. Our Captains have served and will continue to serve this great Club, surrounded by Committees and Management that will continue our ongoing success.”
Michael’s departure has created a casual vacancy, which the Club is very excited to advise will be filled by Imelda Lynch.
Imelda is currently the CEO of the Heart Foundation SA and has extensive executive and health administration experience having spent 25 years in leadership positions in both the public and private health sectors. She was founding CEO of Bellberry Limited,
and now holds non-executive director roles with Bellberry Limited and the Macular Disease Foundation Australia.
Imelda, who holds a Bachelor of Nursing and Masters of Health Administration and is a member and is graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors advised “I am really excited to be joining the Committee of Management and contributing to the ongoing success of our Club. We have a great Club and I look forward to being able to work with the Committee to support the Club into a strong and sustainable future.”
Please join me in thanking Michael for his significant contribution to the Club and in welcoming Imelda to the Committee of Management.
