Women’s Captain
Held on Tuesday, 12th December this final event for 2017 was played in very warm conditions and most women were grateful that we only played twelve holes, holes 7 through to 18.
Ninety nine players teed up at 8:30am along with another nine people for lunch.
Everyone dressed for the occasion keeping with the Christmas theme however several groups went the extra yard with the Beautiful Christmas Bogans, Kay Nyland, Jayne Staridas, Ali Wylie, Kerry Headley and Lisa Harvey winning the best dressed as judge by Adrian Wickstein. A big thank you to Golf Operations for their assistance with the day and also for supplying the Vouchers for the best dressed.
The Runners up for the Competition of 
the day with 32 points were Judith Martin, Meredith Noble and Jill Hage. The Winners of the day with 31.8 points were Jo Ricourt, Anna Standish, Erica Richardson, Rae Graham and Ros Osborn.
The day was a huge success and a big thank you to the Chef and the attentive staff at the lunch which was fabulous. Also thanks to the Glenelg Golf Club for supplying the first glass of wine. The ladies appreciated this very much.
