Glenelg Golf Club has picked up a handful of awards at the 2017 SA Golf Industry Awards Night held at the Playford Hotel on Saturday night.
The evening commenced with 2016 Club Junior Champion, Jackson Kalz, receiving the Golf SA Boys’ Vardon Trophy following a great season, and 2017 Club Junior Champion Frank Vucic taking out third place. Emma Sutton finished runner up in the 2017 Women’s Vardon Trophy.
Adrian Wickstein was awarded the Professional Golfers’ Association (SA) award for Teaching Professional of the Year, whilst our Head Teaching Professional, Gareth Jones, received the PGA SA award for Coach of the Year.
The awards were a fitting recognition for the Club’s commitment to junior golf and our elite coaching team.
