The Sharp Cup Team travelled to The Vines to play against Kooyonga in a top of the table clash in round four of the Sharp Cup. In good conditions the team had a very impressive 5 to 0 win.

At number five Aaron Buchanan continued his season’s good form. He played great golf and recorded a win 5/3.

Marcus Kuys was keen to return to winning form after a tough week at Kooyonga. His preparation and positive attitude helped him get the win 6/5. Well done Marcus!

At number three Harry Edwards played solid and controlled golf, resulting in a great win 5/4.

Liam Kennewell played at number two and found himself 2 down heading into the home stretch. Liam dug deep and turned the momentum of his game to win 1 up against Darcy Salaman, who was previously undefeated for the season. Well done Liam!

2015 Club Champion Jack Tanner played his second Sharp Cup game of the season. Playing at number one he was a very welcome addition to the team. Jack had David Brand on the bag and played exceptional golf to record a 5/4 win against James Percey, previously undefeated for the season.

The boys are greatly looking forward to the final round of the regular season when they take on The Grange at Glenelg.

This week’s victory has guaranteed #TeamGlenelg a spot in the 2017 Sharp Cup final, giving the boys the opportunity to defend last years title.
