On Tuesday, 27th June the Maggie Stewart Memorial Golf Day was held at Glenelg Golf Club in memory of Maggie Stewart, a great Glenelg Member who passed away in 2014.
It was a magnificent day and with scores to match. The format was a 4 Ball Best Ball Stableford with the winners having a score of 50 points. They were Lynne Cotton, Jill Stone, Julia Stone and Jill Hage. Lisa Hedges, Maggie Stewart’s niece was in attendance to present the trophy vouchers from Maggie’s bequest.
The runners up on 49 points were Marg Gordon, Marg Whelan, Meg Woods and Jo McCarthy.
The following were also presented with trophy vouchers for the Nearest the Pin on the 11th Hole
