Ladies Christmas Ambrose & Lunch

Played in ideal golfing weather the 13 hole new format Ambrose was a great success with the ladies.

The Runners up with a score of 42.08 net were Ros Osborn, Jo Ricourt, Raelene Graham, Erica Richardson and Anna Standish. Ros was the matriarch of the group as the other four players were Try Golfers who I believe had a great time.

The Winners on a Score of 40.59 net the formidable team of Jill Hodge, Jan Dale-Harris, Cathy Johnson Felicity Rawson and Toni Angus. Well done ladies.

Prior to lunch being served Shane Robinson judged the fancy dress which was won by the “Glenelg Candles” being Lyn Gould, Sandy Francas, Gail Holmes Gill Baker and Francis Macpherson. Shane kindly donated vouchers to the winners.

During lunch, which was delicious, Gerry Hall and her friend Margie got us all tapping our feet with some great disco moves on the dance floor and was later  joined by Jan Dale-Harris who tried valiantly to follow their moves.

The lunch wound up with answers to the Christmas quiz followed by the raffle. It was a great day for the Ladies and I would like to thank Golf Operations and John, Lynn and Phil and their staff for an excellent run event.
