Harry Burner has taken out the 2016 Men’s Winter Matchplay Trophy after a 7/5 victory over Jackson Kalz in the final. The event, which was played over the last ten months, saw 43 members compete over a round-by-round knockout matchplay competition.
Following his first round win against Darryn Vowles, Harry had a good victory against Mark Fleer in the second round. He was able to overcome a tight battle with Con Kapsis in the semi finals, and went on to take out the final against Junior Club Champion Jackson Kalz.
